COVIDSAFE Green-100 Update
The DVBA has made the decision to have all NJBL competitions operating under COVIDSAFE (Green-100) effective 30th January 2021.
Spectator limits will be increased to a recommended 40 per court, which allows two spectators per player. Masks are recommended for patrons aged 12 and up for entry and exit to the stadium and where social distancing cannot be maintained.
QR codes are displayed at all entries for spectators to sign in. Parent/Guardian accompanied children will not need to sign in. If a spectator does not have a device to sign in via QR code they will need a spectator from their team to do it for them.
Game times have been kept to the normal 20 minute halves, so to assist with this we require all teams and spectators to leave immediately after completion of their game. We appreciate if you could notify all club members to leave immediately after completion of their game.
Basketball Victoria recommends all stadiums have a Biosafety officer. The referee supervisor will act as the biosafety officer in all venues. Please ensure all teams abide by the biosafety measures to avoid unnecessary delays to games.
Below I have added a table to assist clubs with sharing this information to their teams.
If at any point, Government restrictions change, the DVBA will not hesitate to make immediate operational changes to the below and notify clubs immediately.
